Associate Brand Marketing Manager

Brand Marketing Manager Responsibilities
• Create a targeted social media strategy to increase conversion
• Manage a team of four and external agencies
• Partner with Integrated Marketing, Merchandising, Creative and Marketing teams to create, communicate and edit digital and social marketing plans while standardizing KPIs
• Manage department P&L
• Identify, negotiate and report on influencer partnerships
• Create and execute brand marketing event strategy, including working with vendors to manage event details

Brand Marketing Manager Requirements
• 4+ years of marketing experience with a minimum of 2+ years managerial experience
• E-commerce background, preferably with a leading retailer
• Strong experience creating and executing social media strategies with proven conversions
• Experience working with influencers, including negotiations
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams

Merchandising Coordinator

As the Merchandising Coordinator, you would be responsible for assisting the merchandising team in daily, weekly, and monthly projects. The ability to multitask and prioritize these projects will be important to the success of this role. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

This position will report to our Sr. Buyer.

Responsibilities

• Meticulous maintenance of buy records across multiple documents:
• The entry of new styles/outfit images and related attributes and metrics across multiple documents throughout the product creation lifecycle
• Timely update of all style, cost, and quantity changes

Manage Shipping Tracker
• Manage all areas of shipping tracking from ETA to Receipt in the system
• Diligently surface any delayed POs or shipping issues to the Buying team

Creation Of Selling Reports And Recaps
• Pull, format, and distribute weekly selling report
• Support ad hoc analysis
• Assist in sample process with buying and cross-functional teams

PO Entry And Approval
• Create shoe PO's
• Monitor PO approvals
• Additional responsibilities as required

Highly Proficient In Systems

Required Skills:
• Fluency in Excel for analysis, record keeping, and visualization exercises
• Pulling reports and data entry in multiple systems (Training would be provided)
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues and/or escalate issues to relevant teams
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and propose solutions

Detailed Oriented
• Data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Accuracy in reporting, data pulls, and ad hoc analysis
• Complete assigned tasks thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner

Strong Communication
• Ability to act as an intermediary between multiple cross-functional teams; ensuring assortment updates are communicated accurately and promptly to all key stakeholders

E-Commerce Site Merchandiser

About The Role

An E-Commerce Site Merchandiser will be responsible for various aspects of our website ranging from product placement to manual merchandising. This role will be critical to website sales and we’re looking for a great team player, as this role will be interacting with almost every business unit at JAKL.

Responsibilities
• Take action on product placement/content/pricing to increase sales.
• Ensure pricing on our brand sites is accurate and promotional pricing is coordinated with internal teams.
• Ensure that we are leveraging all possible cross-selling techniques to increase average order size.
• Partner with other team members to view customer trends and behaviors, adjusting online content as necessary to conform to shopping patterns.
• Work with the studio and graphic artists on content leveraged on the shopping platform.
• Coordinate with various teams across JAKL to ensure that the online site merchandising needs are met, leveraging the necessary resources to deliver a great online experience.
• Stay on top of E-Commerce trends, bring new ideas to the team, and be a leader!

Required Skills
• A B.A. or B.S. degree, with a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role.
• Prior E-Commerce experience.
• E-Commerce platform experience; Shopify preferred.
• Basic HTML, CSS knowledge.
• Some Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) is helpful.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow-up on tasks without reminders.

Product Development Associate

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive self-starter with a passion for the fashion industry. If you have a well-rounded knowledge of apparel/market trends, vendor negotiations, technical design concepts, materials, fit, construction, and technical packages, this may be the perfect job for you!

Responsibilities
• Manage pre-production style changes and approval calendar
• Ensure delivery dates are maintained
• Partner with the Product Manager to source product, negotiate production prices and place orders
• Duplicate standardized tech packs for distribution

Required Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in fashion merchandising or related field
• 1-2+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to accurately and efficiently complete multiple projects within strict deadlines
